Michael Steinberg

Michael Steinberg is a founding partner at SSA Lawyers, bringing over four decades of legal experience and a deep commitment to advocacy for the disabled and underserved. He focuses his practice on Social Security Disability, long-term disability claims, and veterans disability claims, having represented more than 15,000 clients in these complex and often life-changing matters.
Mr. Steinberg earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida, receiving a B.A. in Economics in 1979 and his J.D. in 1981. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982, and has since built a career marked by compassion, precision, and tenacity in the courtroom.

Over his long and distinguished career, Mr. Steinberg has successfully argued thousands of federal court appeals, including landmark victories before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, setting important precedents that continue to benefit disability claimants across the country.
Personal Life
Michael has been married to his wife, Miriam Steinberg, for over 41 years. They are proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to two. Outside of his legal practice, Michael enjoys vegetable gardening, weightlifting, stand-up comedy, and engaging in political discourse. He finds deep satisfaction in helping people access the resources they need to live dignified, healthy lives.
